About Recession Wedding
Recession Wedding is designed with some of the most talented wedding artists in the nation.
Not only are we coming up with innovative ways to make that special day less expensive, but
we are also developing relationships with our vendors, brides and experts. This relationship
guarantees that the viewer/bride to be will have great resources that are credible and valuable
to their planning.
The show is hosted by Monica Lorraine. Monica Lorraine is a Broadcast and Print Journalist.
The Atlanta native has honed her skills at several TV and Radio stations across the country,
including CNN, CNN Headline News, KGTV in San Diego, WTVM-TV in Columbus, Georgia,
WMGT-TV in Macon, WSB-TV and WGCL-TV in Atlanta, as well as V-103 radio. Monica was also
the Entertainment Reporter for 790-AM's Nationally Syndicated Sports Talk Radio Show, "The 2
Live Stews," and spent 2 years as the Anchor and Host of "City 26 News," an Atlanta cable
news broadcast.
The brides have not been chosen as of yet. We will pick from our community of brides at
www.tvwed.com . We are looking for very animated ladies and those with an interesting story
behind their wedding and relationship.
Recession Wedding will begin airing in the Atlanta area on WSB-TV channel 2 in August 2010.
The first season will consist of 13 episodes. Each episode will have a different focus and
feature only the highest and most reputable wedding artists.
