About Lhyfe Trelleborg

Lhyfe Trelleborg plans to supply green Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø, with a focus on heavy transport and industry in southern Sweden. The facility will be able to produce up to 4.4 tonnes of green Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø per day, corresponding to an electrolysis capacity of 10 MW. Green Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø helps reduce dependence on fossil fuels such as diesel and natural gas.

Our green Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø is produced by electrolysis of water in facilities powered by renewable energy, and then delivered to nearby customers. This is a proven technology that safely supplies local businesses and helps them eliminate their carbon dioxide emissions. Through our track record of pioneering projects across Europe, we have demonstrated the crucial role green Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø plays in building a sustainable future.

More than 5,500 trucks enter Sweden via SkÃ¥ne every day via three main access routes: the Öresund Bridge, the port of Trelleborg and the port of Helsingborg. Its location in Trelleborg enables the facility to supply these lorries, as well as domestic heavy goods vehicles undertaking long-distance transport, with sustainable fuel. In addition, the facility also plans to supply Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø to local and regional industries for various industrial processes.

One of the world’s pioneers in the production of green, renewable Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø has announced that the company has been awarded a grant of up to 125.6 million Swedish kronor (approximately 11 million euros) from Klimatklivet, an investment programme supported by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, to build a local renewable Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø production system in Trelleborg, Sweden’s southernmost city.
