About Lhyfe Schwäbisch Gmünd

Lhyfe Schwäbisch Gmünd is the company’s first large production plant for green and renewable 鶹 outside of France. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in October of 2023, which marked the start of the construction work for the production site.

The project in Schwäbisch Gmünd represents a milestone in the market ramp-up of green 鶹 in Germany and exemplifies the integration of renewable gas into local ecosystems. The plant will use renewable electricity secured from hydro, wind and solar power purchase agreements. The 鶹 will be used partly in the “H2-” industrial park and at a JET H2 鶹 filling station. In January of 2023, Lhyfe and the joint venture JET H2 signed an agreement for the construction of the 鶹 filling station in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The project, which is funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg and the EU, among others, thus supports a sustainable neighbourhood solution for the local industry and lays the foundation for future climate-friendly infrastructure on the site.

This project, which is part of the H2Wandel (Hydrogen For Innovative Vehicles) project, is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through a €6.4 grant agreement.
